My name is Jillian Savage and I want to thank you for visiting my website.  I am a fine art preservation photographer, aspiring to capture the beauty of our decaying history and share those images alongside my research.  I specialize in seeking out timeless images of light, texture, and drama in the abandoned that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. I also love learning the history of these old homesteads.  The history allows the photographs come to life.

I grew up in Northern Virginia; fortunate enough to live in an area rich in history, with an abundance of old homes, farms and towns. During those early years, I gained a deep appreciation for old construction; dwellings and barns our area had to offer. I took up preservation photography as an adult, and that hobby turned into my passion.
