About
My Mission
First of all, thank you so much for visiting my website and your interest in my photography! Historic preservation photography is my passion. Every property I photograph has a story to tell, some more well-known then others. I feel a strong, gravitational pull to what has been left to decay; research the background and allow the history to be retold. I'm inspired by the love I have for history. I have photographed many different subjects, scenes, and moments. My photography is not limited to only the abandoned or severely neglected, I also adore and am fascinated with historic properties that have been maintained and shine bright! There's a picture around every corner.
Photography as Communication
I am inspired by the Urbex culture, spending all of my free time exploring the countryside for the historic and spirited abandoned. My goal is to photograph and tell the lost/untold stories of the past. I use my camera to document the abandoned and then print images with a focus on the magic I find in them. My pictures tell a story through my lens.
